PHILANTHROPIC TRAVELS
All round our regular trips, we have more frequently hosted travelers who are looking for opportunities in which they can “Make a Difference” to the various communities or individuals that we might encounter while they are on safari with us.
East Africa offers incredible opportunities for the travelers to engage with various activities that can enrich the lives of thousands of people that are not privileged to meet with the outside world. Inspiring people will also help them to make positive change in their respective communities. Think about how bringing that extra pair of binoculars that you are not using, a camera, or books it can go a long way in helping us Invest in human potential.
Our key guidelines for the philosophy of offering Philanthropic Journeys have been created from years of field experience. We have observed and learnt what we could do better and hence make our journeys more meaningful with experiences of sharing with the communities that we encounter regularly on safari. Similarly,
we have learnt through some mistakes done before (like we do not advocate giving gifts directly to children, but we can make alternative arrangements like dealing with more responsible people on their behalf). This will not only going to avoid disruption of normal activities, but also will make sure that we adhere to the guideline’s of child protection policy including taking photographs.

In this time of despair and negativity about how travelling to some places can be dangerous, we need to create examples of how humanity can be beautiful, how honesty and generosity can resonate with people and make them strong and courageous. We need to witness how despite incredible challenges people can build better and more positive futures ultimately making people change the way we see the world!
